LAS CAFETERAS, is a L.A. Chicano Band whose music manifest positive energy! Talk about a group of musicians from another mother, who serve to inspire others through their folk songs of spoken word & set on the backbone of traditional Son Jarocho, Afro Mexican music & zapateado dancing!

If you haven't experienced Las Cafeteras, whew boy let me tell you, YOU my friend are missing out on one of the most upcoming, inspiring, strong, bold, spiritual music groups in Los Angeles! About 50 Media, Press,VIP fans, friends & family came out to witness Las Cafeteras World Video Premiere "Luna Lovers"! Hot off the press from their new Album titled "It's Time"! I have to say it like a true Goonie, "It's our Time!" Chicano Time!

For those of you who don't know Las Cafeteras, they are an amazing group of Chicano/a's students who began playing out of the Eastside Café! A community space in El Sereno, Los Angeles, where they took Son Jarocho classes & created a band name deriving from this space, and to honor women.

Ricky Garay, Creator of #muchomusic & #muchospaces has always had that intuitive nudge of finding & introducing bands such as Las Cafeteras & other Latin Indie Bands to the L.A. Music scene. Some who have gone on to be nominated for Grammy's! Yes, people Grammys!! Rick met Las Cafeteras back in 2009 thru his #muchowednesdays music event put on at La Cita Bar in Downtown Los Angeles! You wanna party? Well #Muchowednesday is the place to be, if you want to experience the Hottest Latin Indie Bands around! Ricky knows them all!! In his words, "We created #muchospaces with a purpose of accessing alternative spaces & put Latin Alternative Music on the L.A. music scene!

Look at this Crowd!!#Muchospaces hosted a historic Latin Indie Music event of Las Cafeteras World Video Premiere of "Luna Lovers"@ the Vince Price Art Museum (#vpam)! It was a huge success! Hashtag that!! #huge #success #lunalovers #muchospaces!!

Ricky says, "Tonite is about this ground breaking video! Created by the Man of the hour, Mr. John Cantu! This is a video that is gonna break barriers! Produced for the people, by the people! Once the lights went out & Luna Lovers magical melody came to life on the screen! Vince Price Art Museum was the perfect setting for such a creative song & video!

This is what #muchospaces is all about! Ricky mentioned the strong corporate interest that expressed interest in being involved with this project, yet instead we decided to do it on the East Side of town & had this wild idea of hosting the event in a museum! "We wanted to create a family, friendly, accessable, environment outside of the Bar scene, a place where the whole community could experience Latin Indie Music! We wanted to create a perfect stage for a perfect song!
